History Of Neemrana Fort Palace

The beautiful Neemrana fort palace is one of the oldest heritage resort hotels in India. It was built in 1464 AD and was named after a valiant local chieftain, Nimola Meo. This fort became the 3rd capital for the ancestor of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who fled from Delhi in 1192 after getting defeated by Muhammad Ghori. 

In 1986, Neemrana palace was a liability of Raja Rajinder Singh of Neemrana for 40 years. He tried selling the fort but no takers were available. Later, in 1991, the fort opened for a public staycation and 15 rooms were allotted. From then to now the number of rooms and staycation services got better to brilliant with the availability of 72 rooms and suites.

Also, some other accommodations are available in the palace, such as grand suites, rooftop tents, small rooms, and garden rooms and the price range of these rooms starts from Rs 4,500 per night.
